His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be speaking here, Wednesday, September 22 on “A Human Approach to World Peace.” He'll be speaking at several events around town, but tickets for the UM speech on will be restricted to students, faculty and staff. No word yet on how to get a ticket…

We have quite the lineup for the fall, the debate and his holiness the Dali Lama. I can’t wait and will most certainly be in line to get tickets for both. I just think this shines light on one of the (few) benefits I see to going to a major university. A small school probably would not be able to have such interesting events on campus — these are opportunities I would never have had at Bates College but I do now here at the U of Miami (and I couldn’t be more excited about it).
why is the date the 13th of June in bold when in fact the HH Dali Lama speaking on the 22nd of Septemtber?? ;-(

The big bold date (13th) is the date I happened to post the item you were reading. The text that follows is the message I sought to communicate. So they are both ‘correct’. They just refer to different things.
Haven’t heard yet if I got a ticket — there was a lottery….
