Serious fog is rare in Miami. We get the occasional wisp of mist, but this morning’s drive was the foggiest I can recall in a long time: Visibility was maybe three car lengths in traffic.
Then again, there was much less traffic than usual too, so that was fine.

I was supposed to arrive at MIA at 620 from sao paulo on the 11th, but MIA was closed due to the fog. The plane was forced to land in Orlando – we waited until MIA reopened and arrived in Miami at 1120am. Customs was incredibly full to say the least. Never have heard of MIA closing before due to fog – must have been really bad.
