It has been a few years, but I recall going through the Forbes list of richest people a while back (maybe 8-10 years ago), and 5 of Waltons were in the top 10 list. If memory serves, their combined wealth was more than double Bill Gates’s wealth.
Conservative wag: “They have that money because of how efficiently they feed and clothe the bottom 90 million.”
Liberal wag: “That’s just what Louis XVI said!”
