As the daughter of a wonderful man who suffered a sudden, very-near-fatal traumatic brain injury last April, I can definitely relate to your mom’s worries given your recent health issues. Maybe your health had nothing to do with the phone call, but it just reminded me of me, frantically calling my mother when several days pass with no updates on my dad.
This isn’t very profound, but I thought the family connection was…nice. And I regret not previously sharing that I am very glad to see you’ve made such a wonderful recovery.
