Yet another case demonstrating that the judiciary is largely clueless on how to handle the digital age – a cluelessness that stems only in part from the fact that Congress has given virtually no guidance, and THAT, from the 80’s.

A ruling so bizarre and misguided that it is a wonder everyone didn’t start laughing in Court… Yet it was upheld by the Appellate Court.
(I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for any of this to affect the Constitutionality of whatever the NSA is now up to though.)
